Proposal Manager

We are seeking a sharp, organized, and driven Proposal Manager

to lead the development and delivery of high-quality proposals for

data center power infrastructure and energy storage projects

. This role will collaborate across engineering, sales, legal, finance, and executive teams to coordinate all aspects of proposal creation, from RFQ/RFP response strategy through to final submission.

You will be the central point of contact for ensuring timely, accurate, and compelling proposals that reflect On.Energy’s technical capabilities, commercial strength, and commitment to quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the end-to-end proposal process for RFPs and RFQs related to data center energy infrastructure and BESS

- Analyze client requirements and ensure full compliance with submission criteria and deadlines

- Coordinate and compile input from multiple departments: engineering, project management, estimating, legal, finance, and leadership

- Develop proposal schedules, compliance matrices, and action plans

- Draft, format, and refine technical narratives, project execution plans, and commercial responses

- Ensure consistency in branding, tone, messaging, and technical quality across all proposal content

- Maintain proposal templates, resumes, project sheets, and supporting materials

- Collaborate with the estimating team on budgets, schedules, and value engineering narratives

- Manage post-submission processes such as clarifications, presentations, and follow-up requests

- Support continuous improvement of proposal content, processes, and tools

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Communications, or a related field

- 5+ years of experience managing proposals for infrastructure, construction, or energy projects

- Strong understanding of design-build, EPC, or mission-critical project delivery models

- Experience with data center projects and/or battery energy storage systems (BESS) is a strong plus

- Exceptional writing, editing, and document management skills

- Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and proposal platforms (e.g., RFPIO, Salesforce, Procore)

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional coordination skills

Preferred Attributes

- Technical background or experience working with engineering or construction teams

- Familiarity with contract language, scopes of work, and commercial terms

- Experience responding to public or private sector RFPs across North or Latin America
