The Organization:
Brushy Creek Municipal Utility District is home to 18,000+ residents. Formed initially as Williamson County Municipal Utility District No. 2 in 1977, BCMUD provides water and wastewater services, recreational activities, beautiful gardens, parks, and miles of trails through the Brushy Creek community. BCMUD operates four swimming pools, four tennis courts, and a disc golf course throughout the community.
At the heart of our District is the Brushy Creek Community Center. Our Community Center features two gyms, two racketball courts, weight room, rock wall, and recreational programming, including various fun activities, educational and fitness classes.
Brushy Creek employs approximately 190 seasonal, part-time, and full-time team members.
Property Maintenance Technician:
Brushy Creek MUD is seeking a dedicated professional to perform a wide range of skilled and semi-skilled tasks in the maintenance, enhancement, and operation of District parks and recreational facilities. Responsibilities include the care and upkeep of park grounds, landscaping, trees, turf, playgrounds, sports fields, courts, park furniture, open spaces, and buildings, ensuring safe, clean, and welcoming spaces for the community. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their community, and wants to help promote the Brushy Creek Life.
Essential Functions:
At Brushy Creek MUD, we take pride in creating exceptional outdoor spaces for our community. As a valued member of our Property Maintenance team, you'll play a hands-on role in keeping our parks, trails, and recreational areas safe, beautiful, and enjoyable. Your key responsibilities will include:
•Landscapes and Grounds – Maintains lawns, open spaces, and landscaped beds by weeding, trimming, and planting. Inspect and repair irrigation systems to ensure healthy, vibrant environments.
•Courts and Appurtenances – Keeps tennis, basketball, and other sports courts clean, safe, and game-ready through routine inspections and upkeep.
•Trails and Pathways – Cleans, repairs, and maintains hiking and biking trails to support safe and enjoyable outdoor experiences.
•Restrooms, Fountains, and Pavilions – Cleans and maintains public restrooms, drinking fountains, and pavilions, including power washing and routine maintenance.
•Structures and Outdoor Facilities – Sweeps, cleans, paints, and repairs buildings, slabs, and picnic tables to enhance the overall park experience.
•Playgrounds and Equipment – Inspects, cleans, paints, and repairs playground structures. Maintain mulch and ensure playgrounds are safe and welcoming for children.
•Trees and Landscaping – Trims, fertilizes, plants, and stakes trees, while removing trimmings and keeping areas clean and attractive.
•Maintenance Tasks and Work Orders – Completes routine and special work orders efficiently and professionally, including on-call responsibilities.
•Community Events – Assist in planning, setting up, and breaking down community events while helping to create memorable experiences for residents.

Minimum Requirements:
