Propane Delivery Driver

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Fuel Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting propane to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and adherence to safety regulations. The Delivery Driver will operate a bobtail propane delivery truck and associated equipment.

Duties

- Safely operate delivery vehicles

- Load and unload dispense efficiently while ensuring proper handling

- Follow designated routes for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and regulations

- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel use, and any incidents

- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any potential delays

- Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients at delivery locations

Skills

- Proven experience as a Fuel Delivery Driver or in a similar role within commercial driving

- Proficiency in operating various types of trucks

- Familiarity with route driving and logistics management

- Knowledge of safety regulations related to freight transportation

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate delivery records

- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.64 - $30.88 per hour
