Position Summary
As a Schedule Analyst Associate within our Transmission Program Management Office (TPMO) at Oncor, the responsibilities include supporting the Transmission capital program scheduling activities, such as creating construction schedules, tracking activity statuses, and evaluating progress. This will include the Schedule Analyst Associate preparing for construction start and ensuring all criteria have been met, conducting analysis across all schedule functions to resolve any conflicts, and communicating updates to stakeholders in a timely manner to ensure project progress and any impacts to critical path are understood.
Our Transmission Program Management Office (TPMO) holds responsibility for strategic long-range planning, monitoring, and risk/issue management of the Transmission portfolio of capital projects. The primary responsibilities of the TPMO are project coordination, scheduling and resourcing oversight, budget forecasting, information streamlining, and internal/external reporting.
Key Roles & Responsibilities Directly or through others, the incumbent:
- With supervision, provide scheduling support of the Transmission capital plan through the creation of accurate construction schedules and preparation of upcoming construction through analysis and schedule integrity checks.
- Create, check status, and track Transmission capital project schedules and provide timely progress updates to stakeholders using scheduling software.
- Assist with preparing and analyzing project data within assigned programs.
- Monitor project data to identify/resolve schedule variances, as directed.
- Utilize analysis tools to translate large quantities of data into actionable information suitable for use by various work groups.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external work groups to obtain necessary data to support/develop scheduling activities, project analysis, and issue resolution.
- With supervision and direction , proactively monitor a portfolio of released transmission projects providing schedule/status information and identify impacts to on-schedule completion through the proper escalation channels as needed.
- With supervision and direction , partner with TPMO teams to support the coordination of schedules with financial and resource loading across projects.
- With supervision and direction , develop, document, own, and maintain processes needed within the TPMO to facilitate project/program coordination between various Oncor workgroups and activities to support program scheduling activities.
- Development and support of project coordination and information streamlining tools/processes using an innovative mindset to build efficiencies across the organization.
- Support all TPMO work practices.
- Support Scheduling Supervisor on special projects as assigned.
- Performs all essential aspects and functions of the job as well as any other specific job requirements.
- Strong written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs, such as Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge and experience with scheduling tools.
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent is required.
