The Project Manager plans, coordinates and executes assigned projects. The PM is responsible for managing technicians and planning the tasks associated with assigned projects.
- Coordinates assigned projects associated with open work orders and approved bids.
- Delegates project tasks based on technicians’ skill sets and experience levels.
- Monitors and tracks project progress.
- Reports and escalates to General Manager when appropriate · Makes decisions on how to execute project tasks.
- Ensures projects are executed safely, on-time, within scope and within budget · Maintains comprehensive project documentation.
- Must be able to read and understand schematic drawings.
- Must be able to delegate project tasks to assigned technicians.
- Must have solid organizational skills including attention to detail.
- Must have excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
- Proven working experience in project management.
- Must have experience with low voltage wiring operations and products.
- Capable of sitting and standing for long periods of time
- Safely move and lift materials and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance
- Climb a ladder and operate a lift
- Freely bending, kneeling, crawling and stooping while working
- Work from high places such as roofs, ceilings, ladders and crawl spaces and other small areas. Job Title: Project Manager
