We’re currently looking to welcome a Project Manager – Renewable Energy to our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing solar, wind, or energy storage projects within the defined budget, timeline, and scope. They will also be expected to monitor progress and communicate project updates effectively to internal teams, clients, and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and regulatory standards.
- Coordination and supervision of the investment and operation phases of large photovoltaic and storage projects
- Scheduling and monitoring the progress of the projects assuring that deadlines for permitting, construction and COD are met
- Participate in the negotiations for all project-level agreements including but not limited to PPA, EPC, O&M, etc.
- Ensures project agreements meet all bankability and corporate risk requirements
- Provide support in the financial closing and M&A operations
- Acts as the Owner’s Rep during construction phase to ensure cost, schedule and compliance requirements are achieved
- Acts as the Owner’s representative in front of the stakeholders (banking advisors, financial institutions, off-takers) during the investment and operation phases.- 8+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the renewable energy industry
- Experience bringing renewable energy projects to COD and Financial Close.
- Experience in supervision, technical direction or construction management of EPC or BOS contracts for renewable energy projects.
- Wide knowledge of the renewable energy industry in the US, specially in the South East, and financial structuring
- Strong ability and willingness to read and edit contract documents from a commercial perspective
- Communication and commercial management skills
