Job Summary: Pierce Powerline Co. is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of utility and construction projects. The Project Manager will coordinate field and office operations, ensure compliance with project requirements, and serve as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, proven project management experience, and the ability to balance field operations with administrative oversight.
- Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Coordinate and oversee field crews, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Monitor project progress, adjusting resources and timelines as needed.
- Ensure quality, safety, and compliance standards are met.
- Lead regular project meetings with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.
- Act as primary client contact, providing updates and managing expectations.
- Collaborate with General Foremen, field staff, and administrative teams to ensure alignment.
- Support onboarding of project staff and subcontractors.
- Track labor, equipment, and material usage against budgets.
- Prepare and process project invoices, subcontractor payments, and cost reports.
- Support payroll processing for project teams.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and compliance records.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Streamline project workflows and recommend process improvements.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety requirements, and customer contracts.
- 3–5 years of project management experience, preferably in utilities, construction, or infrastructure.
- PMP certification required.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
- Knowledge of budget management, billing, and payroll processes.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field (Associate’s with equivalent experience considered).
- Familiarity with OSHA, union labor rules, and industry-specific regulations.
