Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to energize a clean-air world. The Role

As a member of the technical services team, you will report to the senior project manager, technical products. You will be part of the direct hands-on execution of the capital equipment program across our Saskatchewan northern sites ensuring that company goals and business objectives are achieved according to Stakeholder requirements. Capital equipment projects are in various stages, ranging from concept/framing through to implementation in line with the life of mine equipment cycles. We are looking for a strong and dynamic individual to ensure all aspects of mobile equipment project planning and execution meets the established requirements with respect to budget, schedule, scope, quality, health, safety, and environment. It is essential that this individual has the self-motivation to work efficiency, productivity and in compliance with Cameco and industry standards. You will manage internal and external stakeholder relationships, identify and secure resources, report on project status to management, facilitate solutions, manage project risk, and promote a culture consistent with Cameco values.

In this role, you will:

Required:

+ A minimum of six years of work experience with mobile equipment (equipment planning/scoping) and project management roles within a mining or industrial setting + A combination of education and relevant experience will be considered + Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment, build trust and maintain positive relationships with a wide variety of personnel + Project Management Certification (PMP) + Frequent travel to our various site locations will be required during active project planning and execution

Recommended:

+ Experience with equipment rebuilds and/or equipment manufacturing projects + Experienced with Microsoft Office, MS Project and SAP or equivalent systems
