The Nuclear Company is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our Project Controls team. This role is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the successful completion of nuclear projects, with a strong emphasis on maintaining stringent controls over scope, schedule, and budget. This position demands strong leadership, excellent communication, and sharp problem-solving abilities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities include ensuring safety and promoting a strong nuclear safety culture, developing comprehensive project plans defining scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation, overseeing project execution and monitoring progress against baselines, supporting and directing permitting processes, monitoring subcontractor progress and implementing corrective actions, ensuring quality assurance and adherence to industry best practices, and preparing detailed reports on project status and financial performance for stakeholders and senior leadership. Experience required includes a Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, or related field, 5+ years of project management experience preferably in energy infrastructure projects, proven track record on large capital construction sites, strong leadership and communication skills, proficiency in project management tools like Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project, knowledge of regulatory and permitting processes, ability to work under pressure, and PMP certification preferred. Nuclear project background and experience with brownfield and government-funded projects are highly preferred.
