Manage projects to meet schedule and budget commitments while maintaining relationships with the client, subcontractor and vendors during the design, manufacturing and installation phases of the project.
Review project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.
Establishes and maintains good relationship with customers during installations.
Creates bid specifications for outside vendors as needed. Select vendors as needed and approve invoices from same.
Establishes work plan and resource needs for each phase of project.
Directs and coordinates activities of internal and external resources to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.
Maintains ongoing communication with customers regarding project progress.
Reviews job progress and modifies schedules or plans as required.
Prepare project reports for management, clients or others.
Develops costs associated with change orders for sales review and handling of change orders.
Confer with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.
Travels as needed to review progress, resolve problems, attend client meetings and obtain project signoffs when required.
Prepares and distributes written reports as required by project specifications.

Must be able to read blueprints and installation drawings.
Must be computer literate; a plus if they know Microsoft project and can-do Gant charts.
Bachelor’s Degree (BA) or Bachelor Science (BS) from four-year college or university, or seven to ten years experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. MBA is desirable.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
