- Lead Projects from Concept to Commissioning – Manage gathering pipeline, compression, and facility projects from initial design and permitting through construction and startup.
- Engineering & Design Oversight – Review and guide the development of pipeline alignment sheets, facility P&IDs, process flow diagrams, and piping isometrics.
- Vendor & Contractor Management – Oversee third-party engineering, survey, and construction firms; evaluate bids and negotiate scopes to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
- Schedule & Budget Control – Develop and track project schedules, budgets, and progress reports; proactively address risks and changes.
- Construction Support – Provide technical guidance to field crews, ensuring compliance with design specifications, industry codes, and safety standards.
- Regulatory & Safety Compliance – Ensure all work meets applicable codes and regulations (CFR 192, API, ASME, OSHA) and aligns with Iron Horse safety culture.
- Stakeholder Coordination – Facilitate clear communication across internal teams, landowners, and interconnecting transmission companies.
- Project Documentation – Maintain organized records of design documents, meeting minutes, procurement files, and commissioning reports.
- Education – B.S. in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering
- Experience – 5+ years in pipeline and facility design/construction within the natural gas midstream sector.- Knowledge –
- Natural gas gathering, compression, and processing facilities (stabilization and mechanical refrigeration preferred).
- Oklahoma SCOOP/STACK plays and regional construction considerations.
- Industry standards and permitting requirements (CFR 192, API, ASME, OSHA).
- Skills –
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools (MS Project); experience with Ariel performance software, Synergi Gas, Google Earth, AutoCAD, and Pipeline Toolbox is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable leading meetings and presenting to leadership.
- Other Requirements – Valid driver’s license with good driving record, ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check, willingness to travel 25–40% within Oklahoma.
