The Project Manager is responsible for leading projects from pre-construction through completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope. This includes early-stage planning, resource allocation, and coordination with design teams, as well as overseeing execution and stakeholder communication. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and capable of managing all phases of construction with a strong understanding of the industry, contract documents, and framing assemblies. - Review pre-construction documents, digital drawings, and specifications to help estimators accurately define project scope.
- Negotiations with GC’s and Customers as to Project timelines, schedules, and overall project expectations
- Understand the Submittal Process & Organization of this process
- Have a full understanding and assisting in scheduling of projects
- Understand & be able to discuss project details, dimensions, etc.
- Understand Purchasing, Price Checking, and Communicate Variances
- Be able to take responsibility of Shipping and Logistics
- Do take offs for all material and order from suppliers
- Be a vital part of multiple projects in the scheduling process
- Assist and work closely with Estimating, Drafting, and Production Departments
- Able to make site visits to be able to assist problem solving
- Understand and maintain confidentiality relating to all business activities, manufacturing details, and customer and/or supplier details
- Managing Project Schedules & understanding Project Critical Paths
- Provide Support to your Team Leaders and Process Workers
- Work as a team. Call out for additional assistance immediately if a question comes up that you are not highly competent in responding to
- Liaises with Sales, Estimating, Customer, and Production
- Be able to set up and coordinate project meetings customers, engineers, etc
- Manage time in an effective manner, delegate to other team members.
