Your Impact

As a Project Geologist at Tectonic Metals, you will play a pivotal role in designing, executing, and refining exploration programs that directly influence the success of our drill campaigns. Your expertise in geological interpretation, modeling, and data management will deepen our orebody knowledge, shape program strategy, and help deliver tangible results.

As Part of Our Team, You Will

Conduct detailed core logging, geological mapping, and geologic interpretations to inform exploration strategies.
Contribute to short- and long-term exploration planning, program design, and budgeting alongside senior geoscientists.
Execute and uphold rigorous QA/QC protocols for assays, survey data, and drillhole validations.
Compile technical work proposals, progress reports, and performance reviews of active programs.
Update exploration models and recommend adjustments to drilling plans based on evolving field results.
Collaborate effectively with drill contractors, analytical labs, and internal teams to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations.
Work closely with senior leadership to integrate fieldwork insights into broader project generation and evaluation initiatives.


Prerequisites for Your Success

Bachelor’s degree in Geological Sciences or a related field.
Registered (or eligible) as a P.Geo or Geoscientist-in-Training (GIT).
Minimum 3 years of exploration experience, ideally in a mining or remote field environment.
Solid understanding of ore deposit models, lithology, alteration, and structural geology.
Experience with geological software (Leapfrog, Acquire, GIS platforms) is an asset.
Strong technical writing and reporting skills.
Knowledge of data analysis practices and QA/QC protocols.
Willingness and capability to work in remote, Alaskan field-based settings, with exposure to diverse weather and terrain conditions.
A collaborative, adaptable, and solutions-oriented mindset, with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and operational teams.

Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary that reflects your experience, qualifications, and the value you bring to the team.


Job Type: Full-time


Pay: $85,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
