This position will be assigned the responsibility to produce accurate cost estimates, while managing their schedule and on-time delivery of the prepared quotes. This position will have a direct responsibility to effectively manage their workload. The position will work directly with Sales, Engineering, Drafting, Purchasing, Production, Quality Control, and Shipping departments on a daily basis. Errors in accuracy, judgment, service, and level of professionalism will affect the smooth and efficient operation of the company. This will ultimately impact profitability of the company, client, and staff trust levels.
Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities include the following:
· Use of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
· Facilitate problem solving with the various departments of the Company that are engaged in the Company’s Product Development Cycle.
· Handles customer inquiries, qualifies customers short- and long-term needs.
· Coordinates with Sales to identify accurate product delivery projections
· Provide technical assistance via phone and e-mail.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills, including probing and persuasion, ability to communicate clearly and effectively on appropriate technical and business levels.
· Basic statistical and analytical business math skills
· Maintain a mature and positive demeanor at all times, even with rude customers or during stressful situations.
· Maintaining good rapport with customers and cooperative working relationships with those contacted during the course of work activities.
· Ability to work with tight time frames under pressure.
· Knowledge of the products and services Steelhead Metal & Fab provides, and our expectations for quality, professionalism, and service-oriented mannerism.
· Contacts are made both inside and outside the company. Internal contacts include the entire staff of Steelhead Metal & Fab, LLC. External contacts include customers and vendors.
· Basic computer skills experience – word processing, spreadsheet, presentation tools
· Hours may exceed more than forty (40) hours per week especially during peak times, based on work load.
· Wage is consistent with market research on similar positions in Oregon.
· Paid Time Off (1st yr. 80hrs – 7th yr. 120hrs)

· Ability to perform repetitive motions with hands and wrists.
