About The Role:
As a
Principal Licensing Engineer, you will perform new plants licensing activities associated with nuclear reactors and maintain relationships w/ customers as focal point for communication.
You will report to the New Plants Licensing Manager for Safety Analysis, Risk Applications, and Licensing. You work a hybrid scenario requiring 2 days per week working on-site at Westinghouse Global Headquarters in Cranberry Woods, PA in the Greater Pittsburgh Area.
Qualifications:- 8+ years of experience
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering
- Nuclear licensing skills like development of 10 CFR 50.59 evaluations, License Amendments, and topical reports
- Familiar w/ NRC regulations and nuclear industry guidance
- Familiar w/ AP1000 design, operation, and work processes
- A subject matter expert in one or technical or licensing discipline
- Nuclear safety and customer focus outlook
- <10% travel to support customer, industry, or regulator activities
bout The Role:The AP1000 Poland Project Engineering organization is seeking a Project Engineering Manager (PEM) in support of advancement of the AP1000 new build at the Lubiatowo-Kopalino site. This PEM will engage on specific technical, and project related nuclear power plant design topics in support of execution of established Polish project contracts. Efforts also include the planning and capture phase of future contracts working with the Energy Systems Business Unit and the Global Engineering and Component Services (GECS) Functional Organization.
