As a Project Coordinator- Transmission, you will work with the Project Manager to coordinate new high-priority customer orders and transmission capital projects from bid process through customer delivery. The Project Coordinator will work with appropriate project management, purchasing, manufacturing, engineering and subsidiary personnel to coordinate and facilitate the project objectives. Scope of project coordination includes tracking and monitoring high- priority customer orders, working with the manufacturing plants, subsidiaries, purchasing, and engineering teams on schedule preparation and sourcing objectives, and determining ways to expedite high-priority customer orders.
Duties & Responsibilities:
•Ability to communicate with individuals from project management, engineering, manufacturing and marketing to understand the delivery requirements for the high-priority customer order or project and clearly develop a delivery plan
•Assist the project manager with monitoring project progress and provide updates to project stakeholders
•Evaluate potential problems with high-priority orders and assigned projects, determining hitches and developing solutions
•Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed, and stored
•Coordinate procurement activities to track material orders, delivery schedules, and inventory relevant to assigned projects or high-priority orders
•Schedule and coordinate regular project meetings as assigned. Responsible for tracking project status through meeting minutes posted to a central location
•Work with the Project Manager to use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedules and costs.
•Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.

•Ability to manage own workflow and manage multiple priorities at once, ensuring that tasks are accomplished when required.
•Ability to ensure that the team stays on task and schedule
Qualifications & Requirements:
•Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, Industrial Technology, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
•Project Management Certified – minimum working towards CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) or higher
•2 to 3 years of experience coordinating projects in a technical environment
•Strong PC Competency Requirements including Windows, Intermediate Power Point, Intermediate Word and Advanced Excel
