Project Controls Professional (Production Scheduler)

Opportunity Overview:

Our Global Instrumentation & Control (I&C) business is looking for a Production Scheduler for our production facility located in Warrendale, Pennsylvania, Reporting to the Manager, I&C Quality and Operations Planning. Global I&C produces complex, electro-mechanical instrumentation systems used in commercial nuclear industry for customers worldwide.

Your Day-to-Day:

- Develop and maintain detailed GICP project schedules, ensuring all activities are planned and tracked effectively in Primavera (P6) database.

- Perform weekly schedule updates, variance reports, and schedule integrity checks.

- Prepare and present regular project schedule status reports, highlighting any deviations from the plan and recommending corrective actions.

- Implement and oversee project control processes and tools to ensure consistency and accuracy in data collection and reporting.

- Process subsequent changes following an integrated change control process.

- Maintain and produce weekly schedule reports regarding project metrics and resource loading and communicate to the team /project stakeholders.

- Work with Schedulers / Project Controllers / PMs to develop sandbox “what if” scenarios and analyze for milestone and labor hour impacts and communicate to team.

- Maintain project documentation including P6 baselines and historical records.

- Collaborate with GICP and project teams to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring proactive problem-solving and decision-making.

- This role supports multiple functions, requiring excellent communication and building of interpersonal relationships throughout all levels and functions within the organization.

- Cleary communicate required information in a timely manner. Coordinate required tasks/deadlines. Escalate issues, early warnings or potential opportunities to the appropriate levels of management with a sense of urgency.

Who You Are:

- 3+ years of project controls experience with increased levels of complexity.

- Strong computer skills

- Knowledge and skill in project schedule and associated tools (e.g., Primavera P6, SAP)

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and SharePoint

- Experience in working with large data sets

- Able to communicate clearly with members from cross-functional teams

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

We are committed to transparency and equity in all our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $38/hour to $42/hour.
