Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. in Orlando, FL is seeking a Project Analyst I.
SUMMARY
The Project Analyst I provides project support for Field Services. This entry-level role requires a basic understanding of business processes, communication, and organization. The ability to work under pressure and meet short deadlines is essential to deliver the best service to internal and external customers. This is a long-term internship with the possbility of converting to a full-time employee.
We’re seeking motivated sophomores or juniors who are graduating in May 2027 or later and are available to work year-round—including Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters—through graduation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
•Generate purchase orders for subvendors on individual projects on a high-volume basis.
•Organize and file vendor purchase orders and invoices for prompt payment.
•Organize and file customer invoices, debit memos, and credit memos.
•Create and maintain billing/invoice registers.
•Monitor and expedite vendor invoices to enable faster customer invoicing.
•Assist in maintaining project folders.
•Support other Project Analysts in their duties and responsibilities.
•Provide project support including communication with office and site personnel, administrative document control, and customer billing support.
•Assist with the consolidation and organization of project documents to facilitate customer invoicing.
•Cooperate during financial audits.
•Interact with Mitsubishi Power counterparts including HQ, MHPSC, MHI, MEPPI/MELCO, and MC.
•Participate in training related to business, personal, and product development.
•Perform other duties as required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EDUCATION
Education & Experience:
Accredited degree from a college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience equal to two (2) years.
Language Skills:
•Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business and financial statements.
•Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, suppliers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills:
•Ability to perform basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
•Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages, and to interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
•Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations with limited standardization.
•Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule-based instructions.
Computer Skills:
•Basic proficiency in email, word processing, spreadsheets, internet use, and basic databases.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
•Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, talk, and hear.
•Must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; occasionally up to 50 pounds.
•Occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals.
•Work environment may be loud.
•Must follow all safety procedures including the use of personal protective equipment (hardhat, safety glasses, goggles, hearing and fall protection).
