The Project Admin Coordinator is an important member of the Project Management team. The Project Admin Coordinator supports the estimating, bidding, pre-construction, contracting and construction of J&B Solar Projects. The Project Admin Coordinator is responsible for managing the company's key project stake holder relationships. The Project Coordinator serves as the interface between the client, project management and the project engineering team. He or she strives to understand the customer and company demands, plans how to meet these demands, and constructs projects on time and on budget as a result. The Project Admin Coordinator also serves as an estimating liaison between company and subcontractors. Willingness to travel to supplier, client, or construction site locations is expected.

3. Defines and understands owner’s needs and expectations to ensure the success of the project.
4. Works collaboratively and effectively with all stakeholders throughout the project.
5. Participate and support virtual/onsite meetings with Owners, Superintendents, Sub-contractors, Tenant Construction Representatives, and County/City Officials.
6. Assist Project Managers to determines and follow the schedule for completion of a project to meet scheduled completion dates and budgets determined by contractual scope.
7. Tracks and maintains construction schedule to achieve completion of project within time and within the budget allocated, while taking into consideration manpower, equipment, and tool allocation.
8. Facilitate change orders, or written changes in scope to necessary parties.
9. Facilitate site mobilization activities specific but not limited to temporary facilities, temporary utilities, and mobilization of equipment and materials.
10. Facilitate all job closeout activities that include billing, punch list items, and post project Lessons Learned Meetings.
11. Facilitate project purchase orders per the purchase order policies and procedure
The Project Admin Coordinator reports directly to the Project Manager and works side by side in making J&B Solar a world class EPC known for on-time, high quality project delivery.
Verifiable skills, knowledge, and success managing a construction operation; 2 + years’ experience.
12. Proven ability to lead teams and motivate, coach and develop employees.
13. Working knowledge of construction practices in solar with an emphasis on mechanical installation scopes.
14. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BA) or Construction Management (CM) preferred.
15. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Must be a self-motivator and team participant.
16. Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PPT, and Outlook
19. Ability to communicate orally with management and other co-workers.
20. Ability to work outside in hot and cold weather.
21. Hearing and vision within normal ranges is helpful for normal conversations, to receive ordinary information, and to read plans/documents.
