Program Support Professional (Field Services)

Reporting to the Manager for Electrical Field Services, the Project Support Professional will act as single point of contact for all project aspects including financials, forecasting, schedules and data management across multiple field services initiatives. The successful applicant must be engaging, customer-focused and must have the ability seek win-win solutions for the Field Services group and our customers.

- Deliver effective customer service by building client relationships, responding to inquiries and follow-ups, and addressing customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.

- Act as team's liaison to ensure project visibility and resource availability including oversight on teams’ deployment based on project plans and schedules.

- Oversee site access credentials for field staff. Maintain accurate records of certifications and site orientations.

- Examine project progress and provide timely updates to internal and external stakeholders—highlighting milestones, potential risks, and outstanding issues.

- Track expenses, prepare budget forecasts, and resolve financial variances to support proactive decision-making.

- Collaborate with team members in reviewing and preparing business cases for new initiatives and support project teams with general administrative tasks.

- Administer agreements with customers. Work with relevant departments within Powertech to ensure consistency and

issue resolution.

- Provide constructive feedback on internal processes and business practices. Champion improvements that will make it

easier for customers to do business with Powertech.

Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Business, Project Management or related discipline. Post-secondary diploma in a related field,

including courses in business, finance, accounting or equivalent experience;

- Three (3) to five (5) years of demonstrated project management and client engagement experience. A combination of

relevant experience and education as equivalent will be considered.

- Project management certifications are considered an asset: Project Management (CAPM), Project Management

Professional (PMP) or similar

- Strong detail-orientation and problem-solving skills. Strong communication abilities and able to summarize and present

data to management, clients and stakeholders.

- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects—including logistics, scheduling, reporting, and

documentation—while prioritizing effectively and meeting deadlines

- Advanced competence with Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint) and data-tracking/reporting tools

- Meticulous in creating, organizing, and proofreading project documents—contracts, itineraries, reports, and

correspondence—to ensure accuracy and accessibility
