EPCOR Water Services (EWS) has an exciting opportunity for one (1) full-time permanent Field Services Analyst.

The Field Services Analyst supports the EWS Capital Fleet Program and Field Services analytics, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include analyzing and reporting on resource and fleet utilization, resolving operational issues, and managing requests related to rentals, modifications, reallocations, retirements, and fleet growth.
The Field Services Analyst is accountable to the Field Services Manager and operates within the established context and prescribed limits, including but not limited to the following:
- Requirement Gathering
- Facilitating discussions with teams to understand their needs for vehicles and equipment and documenting those needs clearly.
- Fleet Governance
- Handling requests for vehicle rentals, modifications, reallocations, and retirements to ensure the fleet meets operational demands.
- Data Analysis
- Collecting and analyzing data on vehicle usage and resource allocation to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Reporting & Dashboards
- Creating visual tools and reports that help teams understand performance metrics and make informed decisions.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Building strong relationships with internal and external partners through regular communication and collaborative meetings.
- Operational Coordination
- Scheduling and allocating vehicles and equipment, ensuring they are available and used effectively across teams.
- Issue Resolution
- Responding to escalated problems with vehicles or equipment and coordinating solutions to minimize operational disruptions.
- Continuous Improvement
- Identifying and implementing process improvements, new technologies, and strategies to optimize fleet operations and support sustainability goals.
- Budget Monitoring
- Tracking costs, trending forecasts, and reporting on financial variances related to fleet operations.
- Program Administration
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the vehicle and equipment services program, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Completion of a 2-year Diploma (or equivalent) in Business, Engineering, Data Analysis or Fleet Management preferred, other related fields will be considered.
- Minimum 5 years of project or construction management experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of Vehicle and Equipment use in a water / wastewater construction environment.
- Ability to apply analytical skills and a disciplined approach to continuous improvement.
- The ability to prioritize your own workload while remaining flexible and adaptable.
- Extensive administrative experience in document, information, and records management.
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Suite of products. (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint, MS Project, Power BI, Power apps and/or Visio).
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills; ability to produce end-to-end view of processes.
- Demonstrated ability to gather and document business and technical requirements.
- Active learning skills would allow for continually adapting to the latest changes in technology and business requirements.
- Strong financial and business acumen and an ability to assist with monthly reconciliation and reporting requirements.
- Demonstrated effectiveness at making verbal presentations.

- Final wage and step will be determined at the time of selection and based on a combination of factors as outlined in the Collective Agreement.

- A requirement of working for EPCOR is that you are at least 18 years of age, successfully attained a high school diploma (GED, or equivalent level of secondary education) and legally entitled to work in Canada. (A copy of a valid work permit may be required.)
- If you are considered for the position, clearance on all applicable background checks (which may include criminal, identity, educational, and/or credit) and professional reference checks is required. Some EPCOR positions require an enhanced level of background assessment, which is dictated by law. These positions require advanced criminal record checks that must also be conducted from time to time after commencement of employment.
- A technical/practical assessment may be administered during the selection process and this exercise will be used as a part of the selection criterion.
- To meet the physical demands required of some positions, candidates must be in good physical condition and willing to work in all weather conditions. Clearance on pre-placement medical and drug and alcohol testing may be required.
