The salary range for this position is dependent on location and experience level ranging from $103,939- $129,924
Manages New York Public Service Commission (NYPSC) management and operations audits, New York CEO Certification, and New York regulatory initiatives and commitments on behalf of the CEO/President of NYSEG/RG&E. Manages additional cross-functional projects and programs as time permits. Reports to the Manager, Project Portfolio in the New York President’s Office. Position is located in New York.
Provides leadership for NYPSC and/or FERC management and operations audits, from audit initiation through completed implementation of audit recommendations; for CEO Certification compliance activities (New York Public Service Law Section 65, Subdivision 15); and for New York regulatory initiatives (e.g., Reforming the Energy Vision). Provides or collaborates on the leadership of additional projects and programs as directed by the President’s Office, typically involving multiple utility business areas and/or functions, and often regulatory-driven. Prepares plans and budgets for unfamiliar programs and projects and coaches others to do so. Monitors progress against plans, metrics, and goals. Leads and presents to senior management Steering Committee meetings and parent Company SMEs. Coordinates efforts of cross-functional project teams. Holds regular program/project status meetings. Coaches and guides team members. Resolves disputes. Develops and documents business processes, protocols, and tools. Designs, documents, and conducts executive, team, and Company training, education, and orientations where necessary. Works directly with NYPSC (Department of Public Service) Staff and with other New York utilities, representing NYSEG and RG&E. Testifies on behalf of NYSEG and RG&E as a rate case witness. Some travel to other Avangrid offices and NY Public Service Commission Offices is required. Is the lead team member with respect to accomplishing day-to-day goals and provides expertise and immediacy of decision making. Holds project team members accountable for results. Evaluates and summarizes documents for regulatory, policy, strategy, and business implications, including but not limited to Company documents, interview notes, regulatory filings, NYPSC interrogatories, orders, and reports. Produces PowerPoint presentations, Word reports and regulatory filings, and Excel analyses. Develops and maintains SharePoint sites. Provides linkage to executives for decision making outside of day-to-day program/project team activities.
