We are seeking a dynamic, confident, and opportunistic leader to join our team as a Program Director. This role is responsible for directing all phases of client programs, from inception through completion. As the leader that embodies and reflects the communities your programs serve, you will work with all program stakeholders, including our utility client, area contractors, and customers, to ensure alignment on a cohesive vision delivering the service that differentiates CLEAResult and our energy efficiency and demand response programs.
Our Program Directors are very hands-on. This role requires someone who leads by example, is anticipatory, and is strategic. The success of the Program Director is based on the performance of the teams they oversee, so you must have the confidence and ability to effectively coach, train, and develop team members, while never compromising the commitment to our clients and customers.

- Be client service-centered and have expert-level active listening and follow-through skills
- Manage a ~$20M residential, commercial, IRA, and appliance recycling portfolio of Energy Efficiency programs
- Confidently run the program by monitoring and driving performance across established business metrics (budgeting, financial forecasting, workforce utilization, client satisfaction, etc.)
- Be the expert and primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customers to discuss cost, schedule, performance, and any other performance indicators
- Lead, develop, and grow a team of 50+ by applying proper performance management, goal planning, talent management reviews, succession planning, and career development discussions- Expertly contribute to or lead the creation, review, and execution of contracts
- Responsibly manage risk (identification, management, and resolution) for your entire portfolio of programs & projects
- Over 8 years of progressive people management experience, with a track record of positive career growth from past team members; knows what good looks like and can build the team to get there
- Bachelor’s degree required; post-graduate education a plus
- Utility or Energy Efficiency Program experience strongly preferred, but not required. Candidates who can show demonstrated success in metrics-driven, high-performance, client-facing environments will be considered
- Proficient experience creating, articulating, and delivering financial modeling/analysis, forecasting, and budgeting success; can anticipate and address signs of weakness quickly
- Innate opportunistic qualities; can identify and seize additional revenue opportunities and coach others to do the same
- Confidence in quickly getting up to speed with Adaptive and other business platforms
- The relentless desire to continue to learn and grow professionally
