Centrus Energy is seeking an exceptional Executive Program Director to lead the delivery of a highly strategic, multi-billion-dollar capital program. This is a transformative opportunity to spearhead our mission to restore America's domestic uranium enrichment capabilities which is critical to advancing national security and our nation’s energy independence.

You will be accountable for defining world-class program management standards, fostering a culture of rigorous execution, and expertly managing multifaceted, interdependent projects to achieve a single, overarching strategic objective on time and budget.
- Strategic Leadership and Planning: Formulate, organize, and monitor the entire program, ensuring all individual projects and workstreams align with the strategic goals and long-term vision of the megaproject.
- Program Governance and Control: Establish the program's governance structure, standards, and controls. Define and implement best practices and methodologies to ensure efficient and consistent program execution.
- Financial Oversight: Develop, control, and manage the program's multi-billion dollar budget. Monitor costs, conduct financial forecasting, and optimize resource allocation to ensure maximum productivity and ROI.
- Risk and Issue Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate program-level risks and issues. Develop comprehensive contingency plans to minimize disruptions and safeguard program objectives.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary interface between senior leadership, external vendors, government agencies, and other key stakeholders. Develop and execute communication plans to manage expectations and ensure all parties remain aligned and engaged.
- Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and evaluate multiple project managers and their teams. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across all project teams.
- Performance Tracking and Reporting: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly report on program status, progress against milestones, and financial metrics to the executive team and board.
- Oversight of Interdependencies: Coordinate interdependent projects and manage resource conflicts, ensuring seamless integration between all components of the megaproject.
- Contract and Vendor Management: Oversee and manage contracts with all third-party vendors and external partners, ensuring requirements are met and all deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
Change Management: Drive organizational change required to realize the full benefits of the program, and manage change requests across the entire initiative.
We’d Love to Hear from People With:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 15+ years of progressive experience in program and project management, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role.- Demonstrated success managing portfolios of large, complex programs, including projects exceeding $1 billion in scope preferably in a large-scale infrastructure or capital-intensive industry.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Master's Degree or MBA
- PMP Certification
Experience in nuclear or highly regulated industrial environments
