Production Utility

Night Shift Position

Purpose of the Position:

Production Utility is responsible for maintaining the appearance of the facility and supporting the efficiency of the overall operation.

Essential Functions



Perform routine plant cleanup tasks as directed.



Safely operate equipment such as; front end loader, excavator, haul truck, skid steer, backhoe, forklift, telehandler or bulldozer to scoop sand away from conveyors, bearings and under silos.



Perform appropriate pre-shift equipment examinations.



Grease and fuel equipment as needed.



Grease bearings and pulleys as needed.



Responsible for cleaning and dumping the dust collectors.



Collect sand samples as needed.



Assist with plant maintenance as directed; including assisting shift mechanic with repairs as extra set of hands.



Assist with maintaining facility grounds; including snow removal and operating mower.



Maintain safe, neat and orderly work areas in and around the facility.



Follow safe work practices as outlined in the Employee Handbook and as described during training.



Perform work in accordance with all applicable State and Federal mining laws.



Commit to and support company Quality Policy and Objectives.



Other duties as assigned.

Job Specification (Preferred knowledge, skills and abilities)



Previous experience operating a skid steer loader, forklift, bobcat or other small power equipment preferred.



Mechanical aptitude

Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibility. Minimum Qualifications Age:



Must be at least 18 years of age

Physical::



Ability to obtain a PCP Level 3 according to the Department of Labor standards.

Other: Ability to communicate both orally and written in the English language.
