Production Technician Intern

Job Requirements:

- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)

- Ability to read tape measures, blueprints and schematics

- Able to be on feet continuously for long periods of time

- Able to bend, stoop, squat, and twist

- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly

- Able to follow standard safety procedures

- Consistent availability for scheduled shifts

ACCOUNTABLITIES:

Including but not limited to:

- Assembly preparation – Gathering, inspecting, organizing & delivering all required parts for each assembly to each work group as needed

- Drilling and tapping of Machine-In-House (MIH) designated parts

- Preparation of Burn & Machine (B&M) designated parts

- Set-up & break-down of parts and assemblies for paint

- General shop maintenance (keep common areas clean & organized, inspect rigging equipment)

- Practice 5S (Sort, Set-in Order, Shine, Standardize & Sustain) in common areas throughout the shops

- Continuously improve processes and standards related to the Production Technician

- Cross trained w/ Yard Laborer – Sandblast tending, saw cutting, yard maintenance, etc.

- Cross trained w/ Service/Parts Coordinator to assist in managing warehouse space

Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, however can be severe and caution shall be executed with the use of PPE as required.

- Identify urgency and coordinate accordingly to ensure production flow
