How You’ll Make An Impact
- Support planner to maintain the job scheduling system based on customer want dates and current shop conditions
- Work closely with Specialists, Supervisors and Buyers to ensure job-specific milestones, cost and delivery targets are met
- Support data gathering for tracking and maintaining shop performance metrics
- Support data gathering for shop-specific sales forecasting data
- Support the Quality Management System as well as the Environmental Health and Safety System
- Support and lead process and product-specific ITM Kaizens
- Work closely with SCM to address any areas of concern
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Seeking candidates enrolled in an Industrial or Management Engineering program with focus on continuous improvement and process optimization
- Excellent interpersonal skills and strong commitment towards customer service
- Ability to adjust priorities based on the service needs and customer impact
- Superior administrative, planning, organizational and follow-up skills
- Self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated experience as a team player and leading teams
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with computer and software – MS Office, Microsoft Project
- Knowledge of SAP & Kronos would be an asset
