The Role

As the Product Managerfor Onboarding & Enrollment

you will be responsible for owning and driving outcomes associated with the critical first-mile of turning DERs into dollars: from initial signup to market-eligibility. You’ll help Voltus “simplify the complex” of distribution utilities, energy markets, and customer circumstances in order to help maximize the volume of MWUM (megawatts under management) that are eligible to enroll and re-enroll every season.

What’s the role?

This role is a mix of strategy and execution, which includes researching user and market needs, defining vision and strategy, forming and evaluating investment theses, establishing roadmaps, prioritizing outcomes, running experiments, managing cross-functional execution, and measuring the impact of your initiatives. You will work extremely closely with the GTM, design & engineering, customer success & operations, and energy markets teams who will be key stakeholders, collaborators, and users.

Some things you might do in your first 90 days:

Reducing time-to-authorization from weeks to days. Prioritizing self-serve capabilities to increase the throughput of enrollment requirements. Designing flexible onboarding and enrollment flows that adapt to different customer and market circumstances (e.g. large single facilities vs. multi-site enterprises).

Voltus is a fully distributed company and this job is remote. You have the flexibility to work from anywhere, but your workday must align with a US-based time zone.

Base pay is $120k - $135k annually, commensurate with experience, with 10% bonus paid semi-annually, and equity.
