Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Procurement Specialist with a sharp business mindset and strong strategic focus to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to driving cost efficiency, supplier performance, and procurement excellence that directly impact our bottom line. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing the procurement process to support our operational goals, reduce costs, and enhance supplier value. Proficiency in systems such as SAP and the ability to align sourcing strategies with business objectives are essential.
Key Responsibilities
•Develop and execute procurement strategies that support cost control, margin improvement, and operational efficiency.
•Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure best-in-class pricing, delivery timelines, and service levels.
•Conduct spend analysis and market intelligence to identify savings opportunities and mitigate risk.
•Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Project teams to forecast demand and ensure procurement plans align with company growth and profitability targets.
•Drive contract negotiations that reduce total cost of ownership and protect the company from financial and operational risk.
•Proactively manage supplier performance, resolve issues, and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality goods and services.
•Leverage procurement tools and systems, including SAP, to track KPIs, improve visibility, and streamline purchasing activities.
•Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent disruptions while minimizing excess stock and carrying costs.
•Provide regular reporting and analytics on procurement performance, cost savings, and supplier metrics to inform strategic decisions.
