Procurement Specialist

Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Procurement Specialist opportunity in Carlsbad, NM to support the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP).

Work Location:

Hybrid/Remote work arrangement will be considered. On-site preferred.

The Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP) is the nation’s only permanent nuclear waste repository for defense-generated transuranic (TRU) waste generated from Department of Energy (DOE) sites across the country. Waste is permanently isolated over 2,000 feet underground in deep salt beds.

Job Duties:

Administer subcontracts for minor construction projects. Assemble MCP and IDIQ RFPs, perform CPAs, develop PUR packages and support administration of existing subcontracts.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent is required.

Experience:

Minimum of 10 years’ related experience.
