The Procurement and Project Process Associate
supports procurement and project operations for CVE North America's renewable energy portfolio. This role ensures efficient workflows, vendor management, and policy compliance. Candidates should be organized, process-focused, and collaborative.
- Support sourcing, vendor evaluation, and contract negotiations.
- Prepare purchase orders, track deliveries, and keep accurate records.
- Ensure procurement aligns with policies, budgets, and sustainability standards.
- Build vendor relationships and assist with cost optimization.
- Assist with documentation, reporting, and milestone tracking.
- Maintain project management systems in the ERP for clear data.
- Support compliance with controls, quality standards, financial approvals, and governance.
- Contribute to workflow improvements and lessons-learned sessions.
- Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, Legal, Operations, and Technical teams.
- Aid technical evaluations of new technologies and service providers.
- Provide reporting and data analysis for strategic decisions.
- 2–4 years' experience in procurement, project coordination, or operations (renewable energy/construction preferred).
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in ERP/project management tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to sustainability and accountability.
- Familiarity with ISO, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or Lean methods.
- PMP or similar certification.
CVE North America was founded in 2016 and through internal development has about 36 MW of projects in operation and more than 70MW in construction. In addition, CVE has a pipeline of more the 800MW in various stages of development. Our US team is expected to double in the next 2-3 years.
