Role Overview

Seeking a Procurement Analyst / Technology Consultant with 3+ years procurement experience to manage IT purchasing, contracts, and vendor coordination for state agencies. This is an onsite role focused on IT procurement, compliance, and contract management.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage multiple procurement projects and meet deadlines.

- Draft, edit, and review RFPs, contracts, and procurement documents.

- Collaborate with customer agencies, vendors, and QA team.

- Ensure compliance with state procurement policies and statutes.

- Research requirements and support IT project management (analysis, technical specs, vendor evaluations).

- Deliver presentations and updates to stakeholders.

Required Skills

- 3+ years procurement experience (preferably IT).

- Bachelor’s degree required.

- Strong oral & written communication and technical writing.

- Organization & time management to handle multiple projects.

- Strong customer service & interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

- Must work onsite in Jackson, MS (no remote/hybrid).

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
