Valaurum is seeking a full-time Print Production Technician to support our increasing production volume. This position is responsible for ensuring high-quality output through precise machine operation and diligent quality control across several specialized workstations. While print experience is preferred, it is not required. However, a background in manufacturing, machine operation, or quality control is highly valued. This role requires the ability to maintain focus during high-volume repetitive runs while remaining adaptable to shifting production needs throughout the day. This role will give you training and opportunity to learn new skills and operate multiple machines such as wide format printers, digital printing presses, lamination equipment, and digital flatbed cutting tables. This position will work 2nd shift (1:15pm – 9:45pm), Monday through Friday. This is a non-supervisory position.
- Technical aptitude with strong mechanical reasoning and the ability to troubleshoot equipment.
- Mathematical ability to perform accurate measurements and calculations.
- Discipline and organization with a strict adherence to safety protocols, quality standards and standard operating procedures.
- Attention to detail with an acute visual awareness to identify color shifts or production defects.
- Experience in manufacturing and machine operation.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Set up, operate, and maintain wide format printers, digital printing presses, lamination equipment, and digital flatbed cutting tables.
- Operate other equipment or perform miscellaneous duties as directed by supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, organized and dust-free work environment that adheres to 5S standards.
- Translate technical work tickets into actionable production steps to ensure project specifications are met.
- Utilize spreadsheets, planning and project management software to maintain accurate inventory, production records, and department communications.
- Work independently or collaborative with team members to achieve production goals.
- Communicate effectively with teammates, management and other departments.
- Exposure to airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration
- Moderate noise level (hearing protection not required)
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend throughout the shift
- Frequently lift or move items up to 75 pounds
- Visual acuity including close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
