Starting Salary Range: $121,000 - $140,000 - position is also eligible for an annual bonus if individual performance and company objectives are met.
As a Principal Energy Market Evaluation Analyst,
your work will directly contribute to ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of the power grid that serves 45 million people. By analyzing and enhancing market and system operations you’ll help MISO manage congestion through its market systems and ensure sufficient resources are online and available to meet system demands and support grid reliability.
The
Principal Energy Market Evaluation Analystwill perform analysis and economic studies on the performance, efficiency, behaviors, and impact of the MISO markets. They will evaluate and report on market outcomes and operational events and identify issues with MISO’s markets and systems. They will use advanced data technologies to solve business problems and they will communicate analysis results and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders to support business decision making. As a Principal Analyst you will be expected to help guide other members of the team and you will be responsible for delivering progress on key projects that expand the team’s analytical capabilities.
