About The Role

As a Principal Civil Engineer, you will work with civil / structural design activities like structural systems evaluation to steel members, reinforced concrete and composite steel.

You will report to the Manager of BOP Design and Module Fabrication Support. You will work hybrid based in Rock Hill, SC.

Key Responsibilities

- Support civil / structural design activities

- Address technical issues for design of building structures, fabrication, assembly, and construction

- Technical justification of design changes

- Troubleshoot technical issues

- On-Site support travel to utilities, sites and smaller projects from time to time

- Use tools like ANSYS, LS-DYNA, GTSTRUDL or similar

- Maintain software compliance records and closure of engineering corrective actions

- Become familiar with industry civil/structural codes like ACI, AISC, ASCE, AWS

- Comply with all standards and procedures standards

- Develop engineering sketches and markups using AutoCAD or similar CAD programs

- Create engineering documentation like design change proposals, document revisions, new documents and drawing generation

Qualifications:

- 10+ years of experience

- Bachelor's's degree in civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent
