Job Summary:

An exciting engineering opportunity exists in Customer Services! The rapidly growing Package Refurbishment and Upgrades (PRU) business is looking for innovative engineers to develop alternative solutions for the increasingly competitive aftermarket landscape. This position supports this vision and provides expertise for the Flexible Solutions Group in the PRU Product Development organization.

The duties for this position include investigating alternatives to existing turbine systems products, developing new products to address customer needs, prototyping and testing promising options, developing project execution process improvements, reviewing and developing new technologies, and incorporating innovative designs into the PRU product portfolio.

What You Need To Have:

Educational Background:

- Bachelor degree with Engineering discipline and a minimum of 7 years experience.

Technical Excellence:

- A thorough knowledge of standard engineering principles.

- In-depth understanding of manufacturing, quality control, design and analysis techniques related to gas turbine control and associated systems.

- Must be an expert in current hydro-mechanical systems designs and tools used to manage standards products (e.g. Windchill / PLM tools) and PRU project execution processes.

- In-depth knowledge of Solar mechanical systems designs as well as commercial specifications.

Top Candidates Will Have:

Product Design and Development:

- A background in Research and Development program management is preferred.

- Familiarity with Turbomach system designs as well as commercial specifications.

Summary Pay Range:

$120,299.00 - $180,449.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
