Job Summary:

Trihydro Corporation is hiring an Assistant Staff Civil Engineer to join our Austin or New Braunfels, TX office. This role is within our Infrastructure and Natural Resources Business Unit, providing effective, responsive, and safe solutions to private and public clients.

Join our team to help develop solutions for water agencies, municipalities, and private clients focusing on civil infrastructure and water resource improvements. You will work on infrastructure systems including water, sanitary sewer, transportation, and stormwater.

Key Responsibilities:

- Performing technical research.

- Performing design calculations.

- Drafting figures, preparing construction plan sets, and design modeling.

- Preparing technical memorandums and reports.

- Developing cost estimates.

- Preparing permit applications.

- Conducting field data collection, performing site inspections and inventories, and performing construction observation, monitoring and reporting.

Qualifications:

- You have 0-2 years of engineering design experience and are looking for opportunities to build your technical foundation.

- You have experience with and/or are interested in civil infrastructure, water and wastewater systems, and water resources.

- You value teamwork to achieve project goals.

- You are an engineer-in-training (E.I.T. or F.E.) or have plans to obtain your E.I.T. or F.E. within 6 months.

- You’re experienced in AutoCAD and Civil 3D or related CADD programs (not required, but this experience will allow you to hit the ground running).

- You possess strong technical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness; and a commitment to producing high-quality deliverables.

- You have an interest and ability to travel to client locations and other nearby Trihydro offices.

- You understand the importance of time management and possess excellent organizational skills.
