Job Location: Rockledge
2nd shift-3pm-11pm
You will work on
•Work from schedules, production orders, prints and specifications. Verify alloy and length of billet and set heater controls to proper specifications.
•Operation of the press with require multifunction operation of multiple control panels in sequence to ensure proper operation.
•Make adjustments to press and peripheral equipment to set-up product layout guides and tooling and set and adjust parameters to ensure the material meets customers specs.
•Perform or assist with any departmental operations, as required or directed to maintain workflow or respond to emergency conditions. Maintain work area in a clean and orderly condition. Ensure safe operating conditions within area of responsibility.
•Assist in the process examination and quality documentation and determine causes for problems, root cause analysis and recommend solutions follow up to help establish product & customer issues.
•Assist in Press Equipment validations, safety, and quality audits.
•Able to work in a non-air-conditioned shop environment. Hot in the Summer, cold in the Winter

Your qualifications and skills
•Certified Production Technician
•Strong understanding of mechanical components
•LEAN manufacturing principles
•Knowledge of HSE regulations
•Knowledge of basic material sciences, metallurgy, aluminum.
•Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers, including decimals and fractions and the ability to use a calculator.
•Ability to use measuring instruments, such as micrometers, calipers and heat probes, where interpretation is required.
•Basic proficiency in computers.
