Prior experience operating a metal stamping press required; knowledge of progressive dies and metals (steel and aluminum); basic Math skills; strong mechanical skills; ability to read and follow instructions; Must be able to lift 30 lbs. (or greater at times); must be able to stand for long periods of time
Loads metal coils on press to be stamped;Provides problem-solving input to support stamping production;Enters settings on press according to material and product being stamped; Engages press to stamp parts;Sorts stamped parts for processing;Clears metal scrap from press.Has the authority to stop production from running should he/she feels there is bad product being produced.Follow all safety policies and lock-out tagout procedures.Other duties as assigned.
