Press Brake Operator

We are currently seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with sheet metal and be able to operate a variety of hand tools and machinery.

Experience installing hardware preferred as well

Duties:

- Operate press brake machinery to bend, form, and assemble sheet metal parts according to blueprints and job specifications

- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure accurate dimensions

- Inspect finished products for quality and make necessary adjustments to maintain specifications

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, or technical orders to determine methods and sequences of assembly

- Fabricate sheet metal parts using various hand tools such as snips, hammers, drills, and grinders

- Use cranes or other lifting equipment to move heavy materials

Qualifications:

- Experience operating press brake machinery in a manufacturing environment

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and job specifications

- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers

- Ability to use hand tools such as snips, hammers, drills, and grinders

- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality inspections

- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
