Press Brake Operator

-Job Summary - We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team. As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal plates according to specifications. This is a crucial role in our manufacturing process, ensuring the production of high-quality metal components.

- Duties - Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal plate products - Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to determine the required specifications - Select appropriate tooling and dies for each job - Adjust machine settings such as speed, pressure, and back gauge position - Position metal sheets onto the machine bed using cranes or forklifts - Monitor machine operations to ensure accurate bending angles and dimensions - Conduct quality inspections of finished products to ensure they meet the required specifications - Perform basic maintenance on machines as needed - Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes

- Skills - To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills: - Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality inspections - Proficient in basic math calculations for measuring and adjusting dimensions - Experience operating cranes or forklifts for material handling - Familiarity with micrometers and other measuring tools for precision work - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings - Knowledge of programming press brake machines is a plus - Experience with plasma cutting or laser cutting is beneficial - Proficient in using hand tools for assembly and finishing tasks If you are a skilled Press Brake Operator looking for an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic manufacturing team, we encourage you to apply.
