We are currently seeking a motivated and responsible Pool Rover Supervisor to lead our team of Pool Rovers in maintaining safety, cleanliness, and outstanding guest service across the facility.
Position Summary:
The Pool Rover Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations of the Pool Rovers—key team members who ensure the safety, cleanliness, and smooth operation of the hot springs area. This role includes staff coordination, incident response support, real-time problem-solving, training oversight, and serving as a critical communication link between rovers, management, and other departments.
Key Responsibilities:
•Supervise and support Pool Rover staff during operating hours
•Serve as the primary communication link between Pool Rovers, Hospitality Director and other Supervisors.
•Respond to and help manage medical incidents, guest disturbances, or facility concerns
•Ensure Rovers are properly enforcing facility rules and promoting guest safety
•Monitor outdoor facility conditions (including crowd control, furniture arrangement, and patio cleanliness)
•Oversee the hourly recording of pool temperatures and ensure proper adjustments are made when necessary
•Support towel service operations: stocking, collecting, and coordinating towel runs
•Maintain a visible presence across pool and locker room areas to ensure standards are met
•Assist in training and onboarding of new Rover staff
•Ensure staff adhere to uniform and appearance policies
•Document and report issues, incidents, and safety concerns in a timely manner
•Lead by example, upholding and reinforcing the right to refuse service to belligerent or intoxicated guests
Qualifications:
•1–2 years of supervisory or lead experience in a hospitality, pool, spa, or wellness setting preferred
•Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills
•Comfortable working outdoors in variable weather conditions
•Must be able to walk and stand for long periods
•Working knowledge of safety protocols and customer service standards
•Ability to stay calm in high-pressure situations and resolve issues with professionalism
•CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
•Availability for weekends, evenings, and holidays
