ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•Perform routine pool cleaning and maintenance, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing walls, and emptying baskets.
•Test water quality and accurately adjust chemical levels to maintain safe and healthy water conditions.
•Inspect pool equipment (pumps, filters, heaters, etc.) and report any issues or malfunctions.
•Maintain service records for each visit, including chemical readings and treatments.
•Communicate professionally with clients and provide basic education or updates about their pool’s condition.
•Ensure proper storage, handling, and transport of pool chemicals and tools.
•Maintain a clean and organized service vehicle and inventory of supplies.
•Commit the hours necessary to make sure the job is done to satisfaction.
•Maintain a clean appearance and conform to the Parklane Pool Company dress code.
•Make decisions that are in the best interest of the company.
•Assist in maintaining all Parklane Pool Company equipment.
•Other duties are needed to help drive and fulfill the Parklane Pool Company's Mission, including referring new team members for employment.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
•Strong communication skills.
•Ability to manage and train new team members as needed.
•Timely input of hours on LMN software to ensure accurate payroll processing.
•Detail-oriented, with considerable attention to order and cleanliness.
•Hold team members accountable for being to work on time and doing their respective duties.
•Hold team members accountable for the proper care of company-issued tools and equipment.
•Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
•Minimum one year of experience in industry or related field.
•Previous pool service or maintenance experience preferred, but not required—training provided!
•Basic understanding of pool chemistry or willingness to learn
•Must be 18 years or older
•A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The physical demands described here represent those that must be met by a team member to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. Team members must be able to perform the following tasks during a typical 8+ hour day.
SEDENTARY WORK: Lifting up to 10#; occasionally lifting or carrying such articles as dockets, ledgers, and small tools. Work essentially involves sitting and is considered sedentary if only a small amount of walking and standing is necessary to carry out duties.
LIGHT WORK: Lifting up to 20#, frequently lifting or carrying objects up to 10#. Work is classified light if it requires walking or standing to a significant degree (regardless of weight lifted) or involves sitting most of the time with a degree of pushing and pulling of arm or leg controls.
LIGHT MEDIUM WORK: Lifting up to 30#; frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 20#.
MEDIUM WORK: Lifting up to 50#; frequent lifting or carrying objects weighing up to 25#.
LIGHT-HEAVY WORK: Lifting up to 80#; frequent lifting or carrying objects weighing up to 45#.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time non-exempt position. Specific schedules will be determined based on the weather and general needs of the business.
Pool Valet Specialists are responsible for ensuring residential and commercial pools are clean, safe, and properly balanced. Your daily tasks will include cleaning pools, testing and adjusting water chemistry, inspecting equipment, and providing excellent client service. This role requires someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently outdoors. You'll play a key role in maintaining the high-quality standards our clients expect. A Pool Valet Technician will perform and ensure all team members are executing all job responsibilities in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.
