A Pool Construction Crew Member is responsible for assisting in the construction, installation, and maintenance of swimming pools. Job Responsibilities:
•Assist in Pool Excavation: Help with digging and preparing the site for pool installation, ensuring proper depth and measurements.
•Formwork and Structural Setup: Assist in constructing the pool’s foundation, setting up the steel framework, and helping install plumbing, electrical, and filtration systems.
•Material Handling: Move and organize materials such as concrete, tiles, pool liner, pipes, and equipment.
•Concrete Installation: Pour and smooth concrete for pool walls and decking, ensuring evenness and adherence to specifications.
•Tile and Liner Installation: Help install pool tiles, liners, and other finishing materials, following manufacturer instructions.
•Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure the job site remains safe for the team. Adhere to local building codes and regulations.
•Maintenance of Tools and Equipment: Maintain and repair construction tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
•Assist with Pool Features Installation: Help with the installation of water features, lights, and other pool accessories as needed.
•Clean Up: Clear debris and clean up the construction site after each phase of work to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
•Team Collaboration: Work alongside skilled tradespeople (e.g., electricians, plumbers) and supervisors to ensure tasks are completed on time and according to quality standards.
Qualifications:
•Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions.
•Construction Knowledge: General understanding of construction techniques, tools, and materials, preferably with prior experience in pool or related construction.
•Attention to Detail: Ability to follow precise instructions and adhere to specific measurements for pool construction.
•Safety Awareness: Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and a commitment to following all safety guidelines.
•Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with other crew members and communicate clearly with supervisors.
•Must Have A Valid Driver’s License : Role may require transportation of tools or materials to the job site.
