Plasma Operator

DESCRIPTION

All Steel Service is hiring for a Plasma Operator.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Plasma Operator will:

- Display a general commitment to a safe work environment.

- Become an expert on the operation and maintenance of a Voortman plasma machine.

- Become an expert on the safe handling of various steel products, including: plate, angles, pipe, channels, beams, and tubes. We use forklifts, overhead cranes, jib cranes, and gantry cranes to move material.

- On an as-needed basis, make deliveries within a short distance of our shop. (This will not be your main responsibilityit will only be on an as-needed basis.)

REQUIREMENTS

- We are willing to train any individual who is motivated and intelligent. Although it is not necessary to have steel experience, individuals with this background will be viewed in a favorable light. The most important qualities are: integrity, strong work ethic, and safe work practices.

COMPENSATION

- Compensation will be commensurate with our overall impression of you during interviews. Once you start, there will be ample opportunity for increased pay, including monthly bonuses, annual bonuses, and safety bonuses.
