Overview
We are seeking an experienced CNC Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machines to produce components according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, attention to detail, and the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. The CNC Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our production operations.
Duties
•
Operate CNC plasma cutting equipment, to produce components according to specifications.
•
Effectively allocate time to complete tasks and meet deadlines.
•
Read and interpret technical drawings to determine machining requirements.
•
Conduct quality inspections of finished products to ensure they meet required tolerances and specifications.
•
Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
•
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.
•
Safely operate forklifts for material handling within the production area.
•
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications
•
Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
•
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand machining processes.
•
Proficiency in basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
•
Familiarity with quality inspection techniques to assess product integrity.
•
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
•
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
