Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Plant Technical Manager to lead the technical operations of our manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for overseeing maintenance, engineering, automation, and capital projects, with a strong focus on improving operational performance, equipment reliability, and regulatory compliance.

This is a high-impact leadership role, ideal for a hands-on technical professional with a strong background in industrial operations and a passion for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead all technical functions including maintenance, utilities, automation, and engineering.

- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.

- Manage and execute capital investment projects, including equipment upgrades, infrastructure improvements, and energy efficiency initiatives.

- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA, MSHA, EPA, and other safety and environmental regulations.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and TPM methodologies.

- Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve process issues and optimize plant performance.

- Recruit, mentor, and manage technical staff, promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous learning.

- Oversee the technical department’s budget and ensure cost-effective use of resources.

- Identify, evaluate, and implement emerging technologies to enhance productivity, safety, and sustainability.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).

- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a technical or engineering leadership role within a manufacturing environment.

- Strong knowledge of industrial equipment, automation systems, and utilities management.

- Proven experience managing CAPEX projects and maintaining regulatory compliance.

- Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Proficient in CMMS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
