This role ensures alignment of maintenance activities with business objectives, drives preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, and provides technical support for Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) database. This position will support several operating assets within the Kinder Morgan CO2 Business Unit.
- Manage and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs, Maximo Program for CO2 Transportation and RNG/LNG facilities.
- Act as an SME for Maximo Database, inclusive of MOC, CAM, TIMS, Preventive maintenance modules.
- Work with Operations to schedule/create Preventive Maintenance (PM).
- Build asset templates and create new equipment PM’s
- Weekly reports to ensure compliance regulatory compliance tasks on CAM
- Coordinate with operations groups to develop critical spare parts inventory.
- Assist with Emergency Response Plans (ERP)
- Drill planning
- ERP updates
- Incident Action Plan (IAP) Admin during drills and real events
- Maintain orderly checklists, complete, and update paperwork; ensure a high level of accuracy and completeness with attention to detail.
- Experience with management of change (MOC) software and database management to track and manage changes efficiently.
- Review each MOC to ensure proper functional reviews are being performed.
- Ensure all applicable documentation is attached
- Track and report on the status of all open MOC related actions
- Manage approval for Expenditures (AFE’s) – timing, generate, track progress of projects, close.

- This is an office-based position with approximately 10–15% travel expected.

- GED required, college degree highly preferred.
- 3-5 years industry experience
- Knowledge of pipeline and/or gas processing maintenance requirements
- Knowledge of oil and gas emergency operations, National Incident Management System (NIMS), Incident Command System (ICS)
- Computer skills: Data Management, operating an operating system
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- MS Office Suite applications.
- Enterprise resource planning / computerized maintenance management system platforms (Maximo, etc.)
- Experience with reading operation manuals.
- Ability to collaborate with cross functional maintenance teams from multiple sites as part of continual improvement
