Maintenance Planner/Scheduler

NSB omega is searching for a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler for our MAJOR Oil & Gas Client in Cold Lake, AB.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain weekly and long-range maintenance plans and schedules for mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation work.

- Coordinate preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities using CMMS (SAP, Maximo, or similar).

- Review work requests and scope with maintenance supervisors and technicians to ensure accuracy and readiness.

- Identify and allocate required materials, tools, labor, and equipment for each job.

- Liaise with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure timely availability of parts and services.

- Maintain asset history, records, and performance data to support reliability initiatives.

- Monitor progress of scheduled work and adjust plans as necessary to meet operational demands.

- Contribute to continuous improvement of planning processes and maintenance strategies.

Qualifications & Experience

- Journeyperson certification (Millwright, Electrician, Instrumentation) or relevant engineering technologist diploma preferred.

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in maintenance planning/scheduling in industrial settings, preferably oil & gas or heavy industry.

- Proficiency with CMMS tools (SAP PM preferred).

- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation maintenance.

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

- Experience working in a cold-weather, remote, or camp-based environment considered an asset.
