Planner/Scheduler IV

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Planner/Scheduler to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules, coordinating supply chain activities, and ensuring optimal utilization of resources. This role requires strong knowledge of ERP systems, demand planning, and manufacturing processes to support efficient operations and meet customer delivery requirements.

Duties

- Develop, implement, and maintain detailed production schedules using ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle.

- Collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, and logistics teams to align production plans with demand forecasts.

- Utilize MRP (Material Requirements Planning) to manage inventory levels and ensure timely availability of materials.

- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules proactively to address delays or changes in demand.

- Analyze supply chain data to identify potential bottlenecks or inefficiencies and recommend improvements based on lean manufacturing principles.

- Prepare reports on production status, capacity utilization, and supply chain performance for management review.

- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure raw materials are delivered on schedule.

- Maintain accurate documentation of scheduling activities and update plans as necessary to reflect real-time operational changes.

Experience

- Proven experience in manufacturing planning or scheduling roles within a supply chain environment.

- Strong proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.

- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and demand planning methodologies.

- Familiarity with MRP systems and their application in production environments.

- Experience working within manufacturing or industrial settings, with an understanding of production workflows and supply chain dynamics.

- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
